Leap Day Challenge

Happy Leap Year, let's just take a moment to think about it, on this day 4 years from now. Are we still the same person as we were before?

Since today only happens once every four years I have a challenge for you! Yes I am talking to you buddy. Whether you are sitting on your couch taking the morning easy, currently in the middle of a temporary break from your hectic life or killing time between meetings, this is your time to do something fun, original, and interesting!

My darling friend, Miss Football, had a fun idea she stumbled upon and shared in her blog! So the challenge is to write a letter to yourself stating the 10 things you want to accomplish in 4 years! The best part about this challenge is that it can be whatever goals you want! It doesn't have to be anything serious or crazy, but on the other hand you don't have to limit yourself either. Let your creativity run free doll! After you are done with your letter, put in an envelope, seal that baby up good and place it somewhere for safe keeping for the next 4 years! Then in 4 years when the next Leap Year comes along open up your letter and see where you stand.

I was going to try to find a funny joke to leave y'all with today, but nobody seems to have any funny jokes about Leap Year. So I thought I would summarize with a fun fact.

Anthony, Texas is the self-proclaimed Leap Year Capitol of the World! They have a 9 day festival to celebrate this joyous day! Crazy huh?!? Who knew we had a such a gem only a few hours away! Y'all can check out more information on it at www.leapyearcapital.com!

Where It All Started

Hey y'all!
I have recently ventured out into the blogger world :) Goodness knows I will need all the help I can get so helpful hints are definitely welcome.

For those of you who don't know me yet, I am sure you will catch up in no time. For starters  I am a small town, country girl through and through. I was raised on the farm and learned some of life's best lessons underneath that big, open sky. You can call me what all my city friends call me... Pharmer Girl and it is pleasure meeting you.
&& before you even start... YES I am wearing clothes :)
As I had mentioned before I was raised in the middle of nowhere. As you can imagine I attended a small school and was able to dabble in a little bit of everything from sports to FFA.
One of my favorite memories from HS was throwing the javelin.
I was fortunate enough to be Back-to-Back State Champ! Whoohoo :)
My high school days are long over by now. Its crazy to think I have been out for nearly 4 years. Yikes :/ I guess you could say I have moved on to bigger and better things. I completed a few years of undergrad and was accepted into pharmacy school in 2010. I am currently working on my second year and anxiously looking forward to the light at the end of the tunnel.
White Coat Ceremony with Miss Artesia and my dear friend the Laker Lover.
I have had some of the best memories of my life and look forward to many more! I hope this gives y'all a little insight into who I am and I am sure you will get to know much more over my future blogs :)

Thanks for reading!
